O programa de mestrado visa desenvolver competências técnicas, para analisar dados com as ferramentas e os serviços mais inovadores, e competências de gestão, para compreender e comunicar os resultados à empresa, apoiar a tomada de decisões, gerir dados, extrair informações e conhecimentos valiosos para a empresa, comunicar eficazmente os resultados da análise de dados.

O Global Master in Data Science & Business Analytics tem como objetivo desenvolver competências técnicas e de gestão para trabalhar com dados e extrair informações e conhecimentos valiosos para a empresa.
Com um foco específico nos negócios, o Mestrado adopta uma abordagem multidisciplinar que inclui noções científicas, metodologias e as mais avançadas tecnologias de Data Science (desde Advanced Analytics a Inteligência Artificial), bem como competências eficazes em apresentação e comunicação, gestão de projectos ágeis e na tomada de decisões com base na gestão do risco.

During the Master's courses, students will have the opportunity to practice with various programming languages and software tools, including R, Python, Jupyter Notebook, and Google Colab. They will also explore important data storage and processing architectures, such as those based on Apache, and delve into innovative Data Mesh concepts within the Elasticsearch stack. The curriculum will equip them with knowledge and skills in cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, including Neural Networks and modern AI, such as ChatGPT. Students will participate in hands-on labs covering activities such as data connection, exploration, analysis, and presentation. Additionally, they will take part in a 36-hour Hackathon, working on real-world challenges with actual datasets.

During the first module of the Master in Data Science, students will learn to:
- Develop and implement the marketing and sales strategies necessary to achieve planned objectives.
- Conduct strategic marketing, brand, and sales management, as well as design thinking and product development activities.
- Identify opportunities, threats, and possibilities for change within the business environment, orienting strategy based on potential sales and marketing scenarios.
- Use different marketing mix policies to create, communicate, and deliver values effectively through strategic thinking.

Practice Lab | In partnership with Tableau
The Rome Business School Practice Lab is where theoretical concepts are put into practice and participants learn through experience. Tableau Software is an American company specializing in interactive data visualization software focused on business intelligence.
In the Tableau Lab the students:
- They will actively work on data preparation with Tableau Prep Builder
- They will perform data analysis and visualization with Tableau Desktop
- They will gain practical knowledge for data preparation, modeling, and exploration
- They will include calculations in Tableau
- They will create visualizations and dashboards to present and analyze data
Business in Action - Hands-on Lab
Session 1: How to Find Sources to Identify Global Trends. Insight into global trends shaping the world today – guest speakers from UN, UNIDO, ILO. Examples of Global Trends:
